Private mat pilates lessons are designed with low-impact exercises perfect for rehabilitation, athletic performance, or simply staying in shape. Your pilates lesson can also blend elements of dance and yoga for a fun, full-body workout.


Enjoy learning dance technique in private ballet lessons tailored to dancers of all levels. We will guide you through the fundamental principles of posture, balance, and alignment while toning your arms, abs, glutes, and legs. Learn beautiful ballet steps while working toward your fitness goals.

Hip Hop

Focused on cardio? Get your heart rate up with private hip hop lessons for any level dancer. Beginners will learn essential elements of hip hop like rhythm, isolations, and basic footwork while more experienced dancers will focus on more complex sequences and choreography.

Meet Your Instructor

Maddy Stillman is a lifelong dancer turned dance teacher with a love for expressive, full-body movement and that post-workout feeling. After training and teaching in dance studios her whole life, the typical gym atmosphere and routine of hopping on a treadmill and lifting weights never felt as mentally rewarding.

Maddy sought more purposeful, accessible movement that mimics the physical transformation, mental benefits, and format of dance class. She found her answer in pilates and recently earned her certification to deepen her knowledge and repertoire of mind-body exercise that improves posture, strength, flexibility, and balance. She enjoys blending different methods and styles to adapt to each client’s interests, abilities, and goals.

Sessions cancelled less than 12 hours prior to the appointment will be charged. Sessions cancelled more than 12 hours in advance may be rescheduled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Maddy recommends committing to two to three sessions per week to maximize the benefits. However, even one session per week with supplemental activities will deliver results. If you need extra support at home, inquire about our Custom Workout Plans with videos you can follow on your own that complement your private lessons.

No prior experience is necessary! Our private lessons are designed to meet you where you are with your specific fitness goals in mind. You’ll receive guidance and modifications throughout your session to ensure you feel both comfortable and challenged.
Our standard private lesson is one hour. This allows time for a proper warmup, hydration throughout, and cool down in addition to your core workout. However, depending on your goals, we may be able to accommodate shorter sessions upon request.
Our small studio space is located in the Radley Run neighborhood with the exact address provided upon booking. If you would prefer virtual or in-home lessons, please fill out the form below for a custom quote.
Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement; for example, a sports bra and workout tank paired with leggings. Barefoot or socks are acceptable in most cases, whereas sneakers may be preferred for hip hop lessons.
